Coolie Hindi Advance Booking: Rajinikanth-Lokesh Kanagaraj Combo Targets ₹5 Crore Opening, 25K+ Tickets Sold

Superstar Rajinikanth’s much-awaited 171st film, Coolie, directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, is gearing up for a strong debut in the Hindi market. With just days to go for release, the film has already created a solid buzz among audiences, reflected in its impressive advance booking numbers.

Across India’s top three national cinema chains — PVR, Inox, and Cinepolis — Coolie has sold over 25,500 tickets in its Hindi version, putting it firmly on track for an opening of around ₹5 crore in the Hindi belt alone. This is a notable feat for a dubbed South Indian film, showing Rajinikanth’s unmatched pan-India appeal and Lokesh Kanagaraj’s growing fanbase.

Coolie marks the first collaboration between the superstar and the blockbuster Tamil director, raising expectations for an action-packed entertainer. The film’s stylish promos, mass dialogues, and high-octane sequences have further fuelled anticipation. Trade experts believe that if word-of-mouth is strong, Coolie could sustain momentum beyond the weekend, tapping into both Rajinikanth loyalists and new-age cinema lovers.

As advance sales continue to climb, all eyes are now on whether Coolie will set new benchmarks for dubbed releases in 2025.
